Emily is a composer, songwriter, choral director and workshop leader.
She works with many Arts Organisations, Music Hubs and schools.
Emily specialises in co-creating songs and original work with young people in group settings as well as leading massed singing events across all age groups.
Recent commissions include the Philharmonia Orchestra, Benedetti Foundation, North London Collegiate School, Britten Pears Arts, Portsmouth Music Hub

Friday Afternoons
Emily is proud to be an ambassador for Friday Afternoons, a singing project run by BrittenPears Arts at Snape Maltings, Suffolk.
Building on the legacy and work of Benjamin Britten, Friday Afternoons work with teachers, choirs, organisations and young people, nationally and internationally, providing high quality new songs written for treble voices.
Emily was the composer for 'Celebration in 2020 and 2022 .
This Suffolk schools event bringing over 1400 young people to the Snape Maltings stage.

Emily has been involved in the creation of new composition resources, now available on the website
Sing Up
Emily has composed many songs for young voices. Several of these are available via www.Sing Up.org
She has been commissioned to write several of the Sing Up Day songs, performed world wide.
From school songs to large scale choral pieces, Emily writes to commission and is always happy to discuss ways in which she can work with you to create the song you want.
West Sussex Sings
Emily leads several adult community choirs under the umbrella of West Sussex Sings.
All choirs are open to everyone, no auditions, no experience needed, no commitment to long term membership.

Youtube Singing Sessions
Emily has filmed 12 30 minute singing sessions for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children, all available for free on Portsmouth Music Hub's Youtube Channel.

Emily is a singer songwriter, performing acoustically both as a solo artist and alongside other musicians. Emily plays piano and guitar and sings a wide variety of songs, from country/folk inspired originals to well loved classic songs and jazz standards. Emily works professionally as a singer and composer, and has toured with artists from the worlds of rock through to opera, as a backing vocalist and choir director.
